AMARIS BÁEZ PARRA

I am Amaris Báez Parra, Ecuadorian Sound and Acoustics Engineer based in Quito - Ecuador. My experience within audio spans all over the music and audiovisual industry in my country. From location sound, set or studio recording, and from live music experiences to technical production and work team management.

My education as a Sound and Acoustics Engineer was completed in Quito, at the UDLA School of Engineering, and now I want to bring my work to the world. I have been part of the most important cultural projects in my country; such as "Expresarte Ec.", "Epicentro Arte", "DeContrabando Show", "EnchufeTv" and many more. I also have worked for well-known production agencies like "Touché Films (2b-Latam)" and "La Casa Nosstra Estudios".

I have always been passionate about audio, physics, music and cinema. When not editing in the studio, I am usually surrounded by audio cables, optimizing some electroacoustic chain or going out for a new film shoot; always giving my maximum effort within the path of becoming one of the best in my area of expertise.
